SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 18,687, dated October 16, 1888.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, JOHN FRICK, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Buttons, of which the following is a specification, reference being had tothe accompanying drawings, forming part hereof.

Figure 1 is a face view of the top ofthe button, showing my design; and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of same, these two views being deemed necessary to full y illustrate iny design.

The leading feature of mydesign consists in the figure of the Union flag displayed on a circular ground inclosed by a circular border having well-defined edges.

In the drawings, 0 designates the Union flag displayed upon the circular ground E, which is encompassed by the circular border D, hav :0 ing definite line edges 13, the whole covering the outer face of the button A. The button is provided with the shank and head F.

What I claim is- The design for a button herein shown and 25 described, the same comprising the Union flag O, displayed on the circular ground E and encompassed by the circular border D, having line edges B, as set forth.
