DESIGN FOR A SHANK FOR LINK CUFF-BUTTONS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,509, dated July 30, 1895.

Be it known that 1, JAMES E. HILLS, residing at the city of Brooklyn, county of Kings. State of New York, have invented a Design for the Shank of Link Cuff-Buttons, of which the following is a specification.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, illustrating my design, in wl1icl1 Figure 1 is a plan view of a link cuff-button shank embodying the design, and Fig. 2 is a front elevation thereof.
Mynoveldesign foralinkcuif-button shank consists of the rearwardly-cnrved shank portions 1 and 2 as viewed in connection with a straight central portion 3, which projects both above and" below the horizontal plane occupied by the shank portions.
The dotted lines of Figs. 1 and 2 are intended merely to indicate the relation of the link cuff button shank, shaped as described, to the buttons, such as are usually fastened to the ends of the shank. Theshape of these buttons forms no part of my invention.
What I claim is- The design for the shank of a link cuttbntton substantially as herein shown and described.
