D7445 OF F 24 n32 DESIGN.
J. A. FLOMBRFELT. LINK CUFF BUTTON SHANK. No. 24,329. Patented May 28, 1895 INVENTOR WITNESSES:
ATTORNEY UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
JAMES A. FLOMERFELT, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR A LlNK-CUFF-BUTTON SHANK.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 24,329, dated May 28, 1895.
Application filed A ril 29, 1895- Sorlal No. 547,592. Term of patent 14 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JAMES A. FLOMERFELT, residing at the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new Design for a Link Cuff-Button Shank, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the ac companying drawings, illustrating my design, in which- Figure 1 shows in side elevation a link cuffbutton shank embodying the design, and Fig. 2 is an edge view thereof.
My novel design for a link cud-button shank, consists in a central part having a general elliptical form open at the center and comprising opposite outwardly curved side parts 1, 2 and having projecting end parts 3, 4. The part 1 at its central portion is arched outward more prominently than is the outwardly curved central portion of the opposite part 2. The end portions 3, 4 of the shank project in a longitudinal direction from the meeting ends of the central outwardly curved portions 1, 2 thereof, all as more clearly shown in Fig. 1 of the drawings.
The dotted lines of Figs. 1 and 2 are intended merely to indicate the relation of the link Gulf-button shank, formed as described, to the buttons such as are usually fastened to the end of the shank. The shape of these buttons forms no part of my invention.
What I claim is The design for the shank of a link cult-button, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I aflix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
JAMES A. FLOMERFELT.
