DESIGN FOR A STEPPlNG-BLOCK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,370, dated June 4, 1895. Application filed October 18, 1894. Seria1No.fi2B,320. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, WILLIAM VAUGHN, J r., a citizen of the United States, residing at Passaic, in the county of Passaic and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Stepping-Block; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, showing a perspective view thereof.
My invention relates to designs for orna' mental stepping blocks and it consists in its leading or characteristic features of a rectangular block, provided with an outwardly flaring ornamental base, diamond-figured top and paneled sides, having the representation of columns duplicated on its corners, as shown.
A is the top of the block, ornamented with a diamond-fign red pattern with upwardly protruding points. B is a panel with half round beads on its outer edge. 0 is ornamental raised work within the side panels; D, half round ornamental columns duplicated on the corners, the whole su rmon ntin g an outwardly flaring base provided with suitable moldings, as shown.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is- The design for a stepping block, as herein shown and described.
