The key board projection A. is furnished, as usual, with an open-work strip or panel in its front. In my design the ornamentation of this panel consists of a rectangular elongated opening, in which is a central. disk bearing a quarterfoil, and two horizontal bars, arranged midway of the opening, extend from the ends of the same to said disk and join it. The open-work consists of two of the abovedescribed designs. On each end of the ease is an ornament, D, comprising a base, a, of ornamental contour, a beaded cap, I), a pediment, c, and a ball, d. This ornament is designed to present the same appearance when viewed from the front and back of the case.
Referring to Fig. 2, Eis the back board of the case. F is an inclined panel above the back board, and G is the top board of the ease. trai compartments is a lineal design composed of an endless line arranged to form a square, which stands oblique in the panel, and has lesser squares at its corners. Between these lesser squares are dots, four in number, all as clearly shown in Fig. 2. rPhe panel F is ornamented with open-work, which comprises a rectangular elongated opening in which are arranged rings y, havinga broken ornamental contour, and connected together by horizontal ties or bars 7i, all as clearly shown .in the accompanying photograph. Below and above the panel F are horizontal beaded bands i 1'.
Having thus described my design, I claim as iis novel featuresl. In an organcase, the design which consists of the ornamentation of the oliien-work panel in the front ol' the key-board projection A, as shown in the accompanying photograph.
