To all whom it may concern.
lie it known that I, LOUIS GOHLKE, a citizen of the l'nited States, residing at Grand Rapids, in the county of Kentand State of Michigan, have invented a certain new and original Design for Carpet-Sweeper Casings, of which the following is a specification.
This design relates to aoarpet sweeper casing and the distinctive features consist in a raised middle panel, two intermediate side panels, in parallel planes with and below the plane of the middle panel and two inclined enter panels having ogee surfaces; said panels being divided by four distinct lines of carved quarter rounded moldings, the whole shaped and ornamented to form the casing as fully illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in whicl1-- Figure 1 is a plan view of n carpet-sweeper easing embodying my design, and Fig. 2 an end elevation of the same.
Like letters refer to like parts in both of the figures.
A represents the middle panel arranged in a horizontal plane and having quarter round carved edges A, A as shown.
I), B, represents the side panels, having their upper surfaces in the plane of the under surface of the middle panel A, and their inner edges beneath the same, and their outer edges B B quarter round and carved as shown.
C, O, are the outer side panels arranged at an inclination of substantially forty-five de* green, and having their upper edges beneath the outer edges of the intermediate panels B, B, and their surfaces concave convex, or ogee as shown.
