DESIGN FOR A HOOK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,287, dated May '7, 1895.
Application filed March 1,1895. Serial No. 540,240. Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JAMES SNEDDEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented a certain new and original Design for Sustaining- Hooks for Paint Pots and Brushes, of which the following is afull, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part hereof.
Referring to the drawing, the figure is a perspective View of a hook embodying my design.
The leading feature of my design consists in a double hook having its opposite ends bent toward each other, and two of the adjacent ends of its members connected bya segmental-curvature, and two parallel lateral projections separated a distance and located intermediate of the ends of said hook.
The body of my double hook is composed of two mating parallel members, the two adjacent ends of which are bent toward the two opposite ends, and two of which ends are connected by a segmental-curvature 1, while the two opposite ends 3 project free. Two parallel lateral projections 2, the free terminals of which are rounded, extend from the said double hook intermediate of the ends of the latter.
WVhat I claim is The design for a double-hook, as herein shown and described.
