DESIGN FOR A BEDSPREAD.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 23,490, dated July 24, 1894.
Application filed June 26, 1894. Qerial No. 515.792. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM WHITE, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bedspreads, of which the following isa specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, which represents a face view of a. portion of a bedspread embodying my design, part only being shown in detail, the remainder being shown in outline.
The essential feature of my design is a bedspread ornamented with a series of rectangles inclosing stars, and with an ornamental border consisting of a series of rectangles with adjacent prismatic ornaments.
In the drawing a a aare series of rectangles within which are the stars b bl) and the filledin configuration of a check efiect c; the field of the spread between the rectangles being filled in with a configuration (1 representing a. lattice eifect. The border consists of a series of filled-in rectangles ee 2 with interposed prismatic ornamentsf. Adjoining the border is an inner border g exhibiting a check efiect. Forming part also of the field are the converging bands j, k, the zig-zag bands Z m n, the intervening spaces of the field being filled in by check and lattice effect configurations o and 10 respectively, and the shaded and lattice efiect configurations r s respectively.
What I claim is-- The design for a bedspread, substantially as shown and described.
