FRANK H. LA PIERRE, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESlGN FOR A BRACELET.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,530, dated December 24, 1889.
Application filed March 15, 1889. Serial No. 303 499. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK H. LA PIERRE, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York city, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bracelets; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
My invention relates to an original and new design for bracelets; and it consists in the bracelethaving the shape and ornamentation hereinafter described and claimed.
In the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, Figure 1 is a perspective view, and Fig. 2 a cross-sectional view, of my bracelet.
A represents a metallic band or ring, having projecting edges or heads at extending outwardly. Bet-ween the edges a on the surface of the outer face of the bracelet are formed raised characters B, representing Roman letters, the surface of the space be tween the edges being pebbled or frosted.
By the above-described design an ornamental and attractive bracelet is produced.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
A design for a bracelet, consisting of a metallic band with projecting edges or beads extending outwardly and having the space or surface between the edges or beads frosted, with raised characters or letters formed on said frosted surface, substantially as set forth and described.
