DESIGN FOR A BEDSPREAD'.
To all whom it may concern;
Be it known that I, WILLIAM WHITE, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city, county,and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bedspreads, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, which represents a face view of a portion of a bedspread embodying my design, part only being shown in detail, the remainder being shown in outline.
The leading feature of my design is a bedspread ornamented with a series of ovaloidal figures combined to form a rosette ornament with a border presenting a checker-board effect, the whole being of substantially the configuration represented in the accompanying drawing.
In the drawing a. a a are series of ovaloid curves. Between these curves are series of ovaloids b b. Disposed in proximity to these ovaloids b b are ovaloid rosette ornaments comprising ovaloid forms 0 c bordered by circles d d; the whole effect being one of a large rosette composed of ovaloidal figures. The border or edging f is composed of series of squares presenting a checker-board effect.
Within the field of the bed-spread are interlocked circular bands e e with their center space 9 filled in by the representation of a lattice effect; the entire field of the spread within the border and between the ovaloidal figures presenting a hatched or lattice efiect or configuration h.
What I claim is- The design for a bed-spread substantially as shown and described.
