DESIG N FOR A BED-SPREAD.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,126, dated March 19, 1895. Application filed January 30, 1895. Serial No. 536,720- Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WILLIAM WHITE, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing in Passaic, Passaic county, and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bed-Spreads, of which the following is a specification.
Theleading feature of my design consists of a bed-spread of essentially the configuration and representation shown in the accompanying drawing which exhibits a quarter section of a bed-spread partly in full detail and partly in outline.
In the drawing, a a a are parallelograms presenting plaid effects which are flanked by parallelograms b presenting birds eye effects. Adjacent to some of these parallelograms presenting birds eye eifects are placed parallelograms c c c c c presenting checker-board effects and d presenting lattice-work efieets. These various parallelograms are alternated and located, as shown in the drawing, and constitute the field of the spread. This field is bordered upon one side by a band 6 and upon the other side by a band f, the entire spread being bordered by a band A which consists of juxtaposed parallelograms g presenting latricework effects, triangles and squares 7L '5 presenting checker-board effects, and parallelograms in presenting a banded effect.
What I claim is- The design for a bed-spread, substantially as herein shown and described.
