DESIGN FOR A HAMMOCK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,308, dated May 22, 1894.
Application filed April 13, 1894. Serial No. 507,487. Term of patent. 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ISAAC E. PALMER, of Middletown, in the county of Middlesex and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and. original Design for llammocks, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
The leading feature of my design consists in the shape of the hammock provided with an outer draped valance of lesser depth and an inner draped valance of greater depth,the points where the shallower and deeper valances are caught up being arranged alternately, so as to bring the caught up portion of the deeper valance opposite the free portion of the shallower valance, as shown.
