DESIGN FOR A BATH-TUB.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,896, dated August 4, 1896.

T0 at whom it may concern:

Be it known that 1, CHARLES F. ARROTT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Allegheny, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bath-Tubs; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the inpresents the appearance of an oblong body with one end of oval or substantially elliptical form, while the other end is straight and a verticalis joined to the sides by the rounded corners, which are of comparatively large radius.

As shown in the vertical sectional views, Figs. 2 and 3, the tub is quite shallow and has a nearly flat bottom, slightly inclined from the curved end 0 to the straight end D, while the sides are almost vertical, thus giving the tub a nearly equal width from the rim to the bottom. The rim of the tub, which is clearly shown in the two sectional views, Figs. 2 and 3, is semiovate in section, with the larger curve toward the outside. The particular form of the rim, however, does not form an essential feature of this design, and it may be semicircular or flat, if desired.

Having described my invention, I claim- The design for a bath-tub herein shown and described.
