DESIGN FOR A CUTLERY-HANDLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,484, dated May 30, 1893.
Application filed May 1,1893- Serial No. 472,615. Term of patent 7 years- To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, CHARLES F. MOSMAN, a citizen of theUnited States, residing at Bridgeport, in the county of Fairfield and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cutlery-Handles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in which Figure 1 is a side elevation of a cutlery handle showing my design. Fig. 2 is a plan View of the same.
A designates the body of the handle, B the ornamental tip or butt, and C the ornamental portion of the ferrule end of the handle. The contour of the parts is fully shown in the two figures of the drawings. The ornamental tip or butt B is ornamented with leaflets and scrolls arranged as shown, and the ferrule end is ornamented in harmony therewith. Its 01'- naments are divided into two portions by the plain bands ab. The drawings so clearly show the design that a further description is considered unnecessary.
What I claim is- The design for cutlery handles, substantially as herein shown and described.
