DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR SPOONS, FORKS, OR SIMILAR ARTICLES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,034, dated September 2, 1902.
Application filed July 25,1902. Serial No. 117,050. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom, it may concern/.-
Be it known that I, .IOI-IN CLULEE, of \Vallingford, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Handle for a Spoon, Fork, or Similar Article; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a face view of a handle for a spoon, fork, or similar article embodying my design.
This invention relates to an ornamental design fora handle for a spoon, fork, or similar article; and it consists in the configuration and ornamentation as hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying illustration As herein shown, the sides of the handle gradually expand from the inner end toward the tip in waved lines, and on the edge, at opposite sides, are long scrolls A, which extend from the foliated inner end B to the opposite sides of a shell ornament C, which is ing witnesses.
