To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JOHN CLULEE, of Wallingford, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a newDesign for a Handle for Spoons, Forks, or Similar Articles; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connec tion with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to he a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a face View of a handle embodying my design.
This invention relates to a design fora handle for spoons, forks, and similar articles; and the design consists in the configuration and ornamentation, as hereinafter described, and shown in the accompanying drawings.
In outline the handle follows the general fiddle-back pattern, and its edge is bordered Term of patent 7 years.

On opposite sides of the outer end are scrolls C, connected by a scroll-like tip D and united by a shell-like scroll E, which forms the end of a plain panel F, which tapers downward and extends throughout the length of the handle, all as shown in the accompanying illustration.
