To all whom it mug (12/100172:
30 it known that I, CHARLES E. Figure 1 shows in plan view a spinningring, showing my design; Fig. 2 a partial seetional view of the same.
The leading feature of my design consists in an annular rounded rib rising a short distance from a plane surface midway between the upper and lower flanges of the spinningring upon the outside or inside, or both, and of aless diameter than that of the upper and lower flanges.
0, represents the ring having upper and lower circumferential flanges a a. The ring has an annular rib 0: on it exteriorly midway between the upper and lower flanges n a,
said rib a5 projecting from a plane face, and said ring has an annular ribuf on it intcriorly between the upper and lower flanges d a said rib a rising from a plane face, the ribs (ll a being rounded, as shown in Fig. 2. It will be noticed that the annular ribs (L2 a extend beyond the plane part of the ring for a less distance than the flanges above and below them and that they are located between the flanges and wholly within the circle oecupied by the flanges and are rounded in cross section.
I claim The design for a spinning-ring, substantially as herein shown and described.
