Be it known that I, CHARLES H. BEELER, Jr., a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have in- 5 vented a new and original Design for a Font of Printing-Type, of which the following is a specification.

My design for a font of type is clearly shown in the annexed typographical impression. 10 The general appearance of the type is that of a block-letter, having a light face and heavily shaded at one side and at the base.
