To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, Donald W. Douglas, Charles G. Brown, and Carlos C. Wood, citizens of the United States and residents respectively of Sonta Monica, Santa. Monica, and Los Angeles, all in the county of Los Angeles, and State of California, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Airplane, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a top perspective view of an airplane in flight showing our new design with the landing gear retracted;
Figure 2 is a side elevational view of the subject airplane depicted in Figure 1 with the landing gear extended; a
Figure 3 is a bottom plan view of the airplane depicted in Figures 1 and 2 with the landing gear retracted; and
Figure 4 is a front elevational view of the airplane depicted in Figures 1, 2, and 3 with the landing gear extended.
The characteristic features of our design reside in the portions shown by means of full lines in the drawing.
We claim: The ornamental design for an airplane, substantially as shown and described.
