To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that 1, Edward F. Burton, a citizen of the United States and a resident of Los Angeles, in the county of Los Angeles and State of California, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Airplane, of which the following 'is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

Figure 1 is a top perspective view of an airplane in flight showing my new design with the landing gear retracted.

igure 2 is a side elevational view of the subject airplane depicted in Figure 1 with the extended landing gear shown in dotted lines.

Figure 3 is a bottom plan view of the airplane depicted in Figures 1 and 2 but with the landing gear retracted.

Figure 4 is a front elevational view of the airplane depicted by Figures 1, 2, and 3 with the landing gear thereof being shown in the extended position by dotted lines.

The characteristic features of my design reside in the portions shown by means of full lines in the drawings.

I claim:

The ornamental design for an airplane, substantially as shown and described.
