PATENT OFFICE Term of patent 3 /2 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Flavius Earl Loudy, a citizen of the United States, residing at Hempstead, Long Island, in the county of Nassau and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Airplane, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 of the drawing is a perspective View of an airplane embodying the new design as it would appear from a point forward and above the airplane showing the landing wheels in the extended position for ground engagement;

Fig. 2 is a top plan view of the same airplane;

Fig. 3 is a front elevation of the said airplane, showing the landing wheels in the retracted position; and

Fig. 4 is a side elevation thereof, showing the landing wheels in the retracted position.

The characteristic features of the design reside in the configuration of the pilots cabin and motor nacelle.

I claim:

The ornamental design for an airplane, substantially as shown and described.
