Brooklyn,NewYork, have invented a new and original Design for Larpets, of which the following is a s )ecific:ition, reference being had to the aceoinpan yin g photograph, which forms a part of the same.

The invention relates to a design to be worked into or upon surfaces such as carpets or similar fabrics; audit consists in the novel configuia tion and grouping of figures herein specifically shown and claimed.

The aceom pauyin g ph otograph is a face view of a carpet showing my new design.

The face of the designis closely filled in with interblent flower and leaf fignres,withoub conspicuous grouping or regulararrangement. A Greek-letter ornament appears in the inter- I l l stices of the design between the overlying flower and leaf figures.

The design is clearly shown in the accompanying phohigrnph, to which design as there shown, or one substantially lhc sainc, my claims are limited.
