DESIGN FOR A CURTAIN-LOOP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 14,015, dated July 3, 1883.
Application filed April 19, i883.
To all whom it may concern Beitknown that I, \VILLIAM R. BAssnTT, 0f the city and State of New York, have in vented a certain Design for Curtain-Loops, of which the following is a specification.
This design relates to the curtain-loop having a certain artistic appearance in consequence of the peculiar construction.
My design is shown in the accompanying drawing.
I make use of the ordinary cord, a, doubled and the ends brought together and inclosed by the ornamental band or ruff b. The ornamental tassel c is connected at the ruff or band b by the small cords d.
In this design the tassel hangs loosely from the loop of stiff cord, and has a pleasing appearanecthat is different from the curtain- Term of patent T years.
loops heretofore made, because only one large tassel is used instead of two, and the ends of 20 the large cord of the curtain-loop are not visible, and the tassel and the ruti' or band appear as one central ornament to the loop.
I claim as my invention The design of the curtain-loop, consisting in 5 the combination, with the central band or rail around the large cords, of a tassel hanging from such band or ruff, substantially as described and sh own.
