HERMANN JAWORSKI, OF NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR- TO SARGENT 8U CO., OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A B RACKET.
To all whom tt may concern:
Be it known that I, HERMANN J AvvoRsKr, ot' New Haven, in the county ot' New Haven and State of Connecticut, haveinvented anew Desi gn for Brackets; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying` drawing and the letters of ret'- erence marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the saine, and which said i drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents in the figure a side view.
This invention relates to a design for castmetal brackets such as used for supporting;` shelves and like purposes; and the invention consists in the conguration of the bracket, as
panying` illustration. y
A represents the back, and B the arm extending` at right angles therefrom in the usual manner. Parallel with the back A is a vertical bar, C, and that bar, turning,` at right angles, forms a corresponding bar, D, parallel l with the arm B. The bars C D stand a little distance from the back and arm, but connected thereto at intervals, as at a, showing` a series of open spaces between the back and arm and the respective bars. A quadrant-shal'ied brace, E, extends from the bar C up to the bar D, the brace made open with a branch, F, extending therefrom to the bar C, and a similar branch, G, to the bar D. The branches F G may be omitted.
I claim- The design for bracket, consisting` of the bars C D, parallel, respectively, to the back and arm, and connected to each with a quadrant-shaped brace, E, extending from the bar C to the bar D, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
