To all zrhom it may concern:

lle it known that I, Jos. B. SARGENT, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Brackets; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the aurcmnpnnying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to he a full, clear, and exact description of the same, which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a side view.

This invention relates to a design for brackets such as are used for supporting shelves a ml for analogous purposes and consists in the configuration as shown in the accompanying illustration and hereinafter described.

The back A and top B are, as usual, at right angles. From one to the other a carved brace. C, extends, terminating at both ends in a curved ofi'set, D. The space within the brace is filled by a ring at the angle, inclosing a starshaped figure. From this ring each way curred diagonal liars t'orin lattice-work. all as shown in the accompanying illustration.

I claim- The design for bracket, consisting of the back, top, and curved hrnoe, filled by a ring at the angle, and lattice work from the ring outward and downward, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
