IMPROVEMENT IN DOOR-BRACES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent N 0. 220,852, dated October 21, 1879; application filed January 11, 1879.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it know that I, JOSEPH LOUPRETTE, of Glens Falls, in the county of Warren and State of New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Door-Braces, of which the following is a specification.
Figure 1 is a side perspective view of a door to which my improvement has been applied. Fig. 2 is a GI'OSStSGCtlOH of the same. taken through the line :20 as, Fig. 1.

I am aware that it is not new to attempt to straighten a warped door, board, or piece of timber by a rod fastened thereto at each end and provided with a pressure-screw in the mid dle; but
What I claim is- The combination, with an ordinarily-constructed wooden door, of a metallic stri or brace secured to the edge of said door a number of suitable fastenings a short distance apart, for the purpose of preventing warping, as set forth.
