DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 12,166, dated February 15, 1881.

Application filed January 18, 1881.

To all whom 'it may concern:

Be it known that we, OLIVER B. KEELEY, a citizen of the United States, residing in SpringGity,Ohestercounty,Pennsylvania,and JAMES M. ATCI-IISON, a citizen of the United States, residingin Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design for a Cooking-Stove, of which the following is a specification.

Our design is fully shown in the acc0mpanying drawing, which represents a perspective view of the stove.

The main oven-door is L-shaped and has an ornamental border, a, inclosing the central raised portion 1), the edgedof which has ornaments 6. The portion 1) of the door has line, work corner-ornaments]; and a central panel, g. This panel is oblong and eight-sided, has beveled edges with ornaments, as shown, and has a roughened face with monogram.

The door-handle It has a raised boss, 6, and the face of the handle has a central ornament in the shape of a crown, and other ornaments on each side of the same.

The end fire-door corresponds in ornamentation with the oven-door, but is of rectangular form.

The front fire-doors have each two mica panels. The feet m are partly flat and partly curved, the flat portions having line-work ornaments n, and the curved portions having line-work ornaments s.

Term of patent 7 years.

The top, hearth-plate, and base of the stove have beveled and polished edges to.

2. The design for the oblong eight-sided panel 9, having beveled and ornamented edges and monogram face, as shown and described.

3. The design for the handle h, having a raised boss, 6, and face with central and side ornaments, as shown and described.

4. Ihe design for the feet m, partly flat and partly carved, with ornament n on fiat face and ormnnent s on curved face, as shown and described.

5. The design for the complete stove, comprisingthe beveled top, hearth, and base plates, orenaloor, end fire-door, front tire-doors, and feet, all ornamented as shown and described.
