Our design has relation to the shape or form ot' the letters; and iteonsists in torming tapering points at the tops and bottoms and middle portions ot the letters. The side lilies of the prominentpartsoftheletterare etuvedoutward near the bottom and top, as at b, so as to Widen that part ot' the letter. 7e then connect the ends ot' outwardenrved lines by a double ogee line. \vhieh is made quite deep and bellying l downward, thns forming enlargements, whit-h terminate at the topand bottomot' the letters in a point, C. The middle portions otl the letters are provided with tapering points d.
'hat we claim as onr invention is A design for types for printing posters, in which the terminals at the bottoms and tops and the middle portions ot' the letters are provided with tapering points or extensions, snbstantially as shown and described.
