UNITEI) STATEs PATENT OEEIoE.
FREDERICK E. PORTER, OF BALTIMORE, MARYLAND.
DESIGN FOR WALL-POCKETS.
Specification forming part of Design N0. 10,6211, dated April 9, 1878; application filed January 28, 1878. [Term of patent 3% years] To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FREDERICK E. PORTER, of Baltimore, in the county of Baltimore and State ot' Maryland, have originated and designed a lVall-Pocket, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, refer ence being had to the accompanying illustration or drawing, making part of this specification.
This invention relates to awall-pocket which can be suspended from a wall or other support, and which in appearance is ornamental and convenient for use.
The accompanying drawing fully illustrates my invention.
A represents the back of the pocket, the lower portion of which is tapering, and is suspended from the upper point b by a loop or otherwise. The pocket is formed by two diamond-shaped pieces, c d, one of the lower edges of each piece being secured together by ties or loops of narrow ribbon 0I' any desired color, forming` the front projecting angle e. The remaining lower edges of these pieces are connected with the lower tapering edges ot' the back piece, as shown at f and k.
The same design may be effected if the three sides of the pocket are made from one piece, by the sides c and d being folded over at the edges f and k. y
The edges of the pocket may be pinked and the exposed sides ornamented as taste or fancy may suggest.
I claim as my invention- The design for a wall-pocket consisting of the back piece A, formed as shown and described, and the two ornamented diamondshaped pieces c d, the adjoining lower edges of which form the front projecting angle e, and the remaining lower edges with the lower portion of the diamond-pointed back piece form a triangular-shaped tapering point, as shown and described.
, FREDERICK E. PORTER.
