To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, LEON G. DODGE, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Grand Rapids, in the county of Kent exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.

My invention relates to improvements in movable garment supports'for show cases, wardrobes, and other similar structures, and its object is to provide the same with improved means for supporting a movable garment support, and to provide the same with various new and useful featureshereinafter more fully described and particularly pointed out in the claims, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which: I

1 represents a show case or other conven-' ient closure for inclosing my device and having a floor 2 provided with a slot 3 'extending from the center of the case to the front thereof and equidistant from the ends of the case and a slot 4 at right angles thereto and of substantially the same length and joining the same at right angles near the center of the case, and a third slot 5 on a line drawn from the angle of the first named slots and midway between the same.

On each of these studs is a friction roller 12 traversing rabbets in strips 12 at the respective sides of the slots, the slots and rabbets forming T-slots to accommodate the studs and rollers and traversed thereby. A device of the class described, comprising a floor having'T-slots therein, a carriage movable on the floor above the slots, studs on the carriage and traversing the slots, rollers carried onthe studs and engaging the walls of the slots, a column mounted on the carriage, and a garment support mounted on the column.

2. Adevice of the class described, comprising a floor having T-slots oined at right angles and a diagonal T-slot midway between said slots, a carriage supported at three points 'above the slots, studs in the carriage and traversing the respective slots,

rollers on the studs engaging the walls of the slots, a column mounted on the carriage, and a'rotary-garment support mounted on the column.

3. A device of the class described, comprising a case having a floor provided with a slot extending from near the center ofthe case to the front of the case, a slot extending from the 'rear of the first named slot and at right angles thereto and a diagonal slot midway betweenthe said slots, a'T-shaped carriage having its ends movable above the respective slots, studs on the carriage traversingthe respective slots, a column mounted on the carriage above the first named slot, and a rotative garment support mounted. on the column.
