To all whom it may concern: l I hanger c, for the end of the roller having' the Bc it known that I, BENJAMIN F. ULoUD, of Philadelphia., im the county of Philadel` phia and Statcot' Pennsylvania, have invented i a new and useful improvement in Ourtain Fixturesgnud Ido hereby declare that the following `is a full, clear, and exact' descrip- Vtion thereof, which Will enable others skilled `in, the art to make and use the saine, reference being had to the'accompanying` drawings, `forming part of this specitication.

I propose to employ india-rubber springs, spiral spr-ings,or other suitable means for producing the friction, as may be preferred.
