IMPROVEMENT IN CLAMP-BAR I 'OR HOLDING THE CUTTERS OF MOWING-MACHINES WHILE BEING- GROUND.

To all whom 'it may concern Be it known that I, 'MUNsoN C. ORONK, of Auburn, in the county of Cayuga, and State of New York, have invented cert-ain new and useful Improvements in Clamps for Holding Reaper-Knives; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, which form apart of this specification, and in which is represented, by

The object of this invention is to provide a suitable means for holding reaper-knives in place while being sharpened; and, to this end,
My invention consists in the employment of a clamp or clamps, constructed on the lower side with la shoulder, through which is cut a slot, and providing the same with thumb-screws, in combination with a bar, attached substantially in the manner hereinafterdescribed.
To enable others skilled in the alt to which my invention appertans, to make and use the same, I will now describe its construction and operation.
