This invention relates to collapsible fruit boxes g and its object is the provision of a box of this nature, which will be of economical construction, may be manufactured at a low cost, is capable of being collapsed into compact packages for shi ment, and then readily distended and locker? in condition to furnish a strong, serviceable and neat appearing receptacle in which berries or the like may be safely transported and advantageously displayed.

To these ends the invention consists in the novel construction and adaptation of parts as will behereinafter described and claimed.

Specifically a box constructed in accordance with this invention consists of a shell formed of outer and inner parts constructed of thin sheets of wood veneering or other suitable material.
