BEDGLOTHES HOLDER.
A'PLIOATION FILED JAN. 30, 1907.
'entre srarns nnr FFIC- BEDCLOTHES-HOLDER.
Specification of Letters Patent.
Patented April 9, 190'?.
Application filed January 30, 1907. Serial No. 354.832.
To (L7/Z whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, LYDIA E. HENRY, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Vandergrift, in the county of Westmoreland and State of Pennsylvania, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Bedclothes-Holders, of which the following is a speciiication, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawings.
This invention relates to bedclothes-holders; and the invention has for its object to provide a simple and inexpensive holder for retaining clothes upon a bed, whereby they cannot become displaced by the movement of the occupants of the bed.
My improved clothes-holder is particularly designed for cribs and infants beds and is adapted to freely hold the bedclothes, whereby the occupants of' the bed can easily move and will not be subjected to any pressure by the holder.
With these and other objects in view, which will more readily appear as the invention is better understood, the same consists in the novel construction, combination, and arrangement of parts to be hereinafter more fully described and then specifically pointed out in the appended claims.
Referring to the drawings forming part of this specication, like numerals of reference designate corresponding parts throughout the several views, in Which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of a crib equipped with my improved clothes-holder, and F ig. 2 is a perspective view of the clothesholder.
To put my invention into practice, I construct my improved holder of two Wire frames l, having loop ends 2, the loop ends of one frame connecting with the loop ends of the Slidably mounted upon the frames 1 are l depending hooks 3, these hooks being adapted to engage the side rails 4'of acrib or bed and prevent the frames l from being elevated, but at the same time allowingl the frames to be easily and quickly removed at any desired time.
It will be observed that my improved bedclothes-holder is extremely simple in construction and can be readily made to fit various sizes of beds and cribs: When the holder is not being used, the two frames l can be folded together, whereby the same will occupy a comparatively small space.
The holder is preferably constructed of durable wire having suHicient rigidity and weight to maintain the clothes in position upon a bed or crib.
What I claim, and ters Patent, is-
1. A bedclothes-holder consisting of two frames having loop ends, the ends of one frame connecting with the ends of the other frame, and depending hooks slidably mounted upon said frames.
2. A clothes-holder of the type described consisting of two frames having their ends loosely connected, and depending hooks slidably mounted upon said frames.
In testimony whereof I afliX my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
LYDIA E. HENRY.
