To all whom it may concern: V I
Be it known that I, CHARLES EDWARD f WVISE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and j State of New. York, have invented new and useful Improvements in Book Covers, of which the following is a specification.
My invention is advantageously used on order-books, cheek-books, receipt-books, and 1 similar blank forms which are used with a stub and where a date-indicator or calendar should be before-the user.
This cover may be madewith a springback to temporarily hold the leaves or be bound permanently thereon.
The under or back side of the cover is made the full size of the leaves of the book, and the top side of the cover is made narrow to cover the stubs only. A calendar for any desired period is securedupon or attached to this narrow side of the cover by any suitable I means.
The invention is fully illustratedin the ac oompanying drawings, lo tters of reference in-' dicating corresponding parts in the views.
