new and useful Improvements in Safety Key- Ring Snaps, of which the following is a specification containing a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.

My invention relates to a safety key-ring snapyand` the object of my invention is to provide a hook which is detachably secured to a portion of the clothing of the wearerfor instance, at the vest-pocket oron the waistband of the trousers-and which hook is provided with a spring-actuated tongue which normally engages against a ortion of the hook to prevent the accidenta removal of the key-ring positioned in said hook.

To the above purposes my invention consists in certain novel features of construction and arrangement of parts, which will be hereinafter more fully set forth, pointed out in the claims, and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a fperspective view of a safety key-ring snap o ,my improved construction. A evice of my improved construction is simple, inexpensive, is easily and firmly positioned onthe clothing, and very conveniently holds the key-ring.
