To all whom it may con/cern;

Be it known that I, ELI JOHN HYDE, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Spokane, in the county'of Spokane and State of Washington, have invented a new and Improved Tooth-'Brush .Holder,. of which the following is al full, clear, and exact description.

The objects of this invention are to provide novel features for a tooth-brush holder that permit vits attachment in a vertical position on a wall or the like, adapt it to completely incase a tooth-brush, afford a transparent side wall for exposure lof .the brush while therein, afford spring-pressed end walls therefor that respectively serve as a lid and bottom for .the-holder and enable the convenient insertion and removal of the tooth-brush, provide drainage for the holder, and also provide means for ventilation of the holder, so 'that the brush may dry quickly when held therein.

The invention consists in the novel construction and combination of parts, as is hereinafter described, and defined in the appended claims..

The holder, as shown in the drawings, is in the form of a cylindrical wall or tube 5, preferably of glass, having suitable dimensions 1 to adapt 1t to 'receive and hold a ytoothbrush. The tubular wall 5 is inserted within a supportin -case 6, that may be of metal tubing or ot er available material and is secured therein, the case extending somewhat beyond each end of the holder-wall 5. The case 6 is cut away at the front side, so as to expose the holder-wall, as shown' at a, this opening leaving a portion of the case at each end imperforate. A tooth-brush holder, comprising an elongated open-ended tubular casing provided with an opening intermediate of its ends at the front and with perforations adjacent to its ends, closures for. the ends of the casing, and a tubular open-ended lass body within the easing and terminating s ort of the ends of the said Casin 3.
