Be it known that I, WILLIAMD. WINGER, a citizen of the United States,^residing at Lancaster, in the county of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania,`have invented a new and useful Toy, of which lthe following is a Y speciiication.

This invention relates to toys, and has for. its object to produce a simply-constructed` and easily-operated device which may be inexpensively manufactured and will amuse Y and interest children.

With these and other obj ects in view, which will'appear as the nature of the invention is better understood, the same consists in certain novel features of construction, as hereinafter fully described and claimed.

In the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, and in which corresponding parts are denoted by like designating characters, is illustrated the preferred form of embodiment'of the invention capable of carrying the same into practical operation,

The improved device comprises a stockor bar 10, having a handle 11 at `one end and a wheel 12, mounted for rotation, at the other end. Connected to the bar 10, as 4by brackets 13 14, is a cylinder 15, with a whistle 16 at one end and open at the otherk end. A connecting-rod 17 is pivoted at 18 to the wheel 12 and extends into the cylinder 15 and terminates at its free end ina loop 19.
