NURSERY-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 782,867, dated February 21, 1905.

Beit known that LINnz ELLA MOORE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Thomasville, in the county of Thomas and State of Georgia, have invented a new and useful Nursery-Stove, of which the following is a specification.

My invention relates to improvements in nursery-stoves.

The figure of the drawing represents a perspective view, which is supported by extension-legs and has an extension-leaf, which is attached to main leaf by means of hinges, as shown at F, adapted to swing up or down, though may be suspended and supported by means of a swinging bracket 2', at the option of the operator, the heat-supply being that furnished by an ordinary lamp of any reasonable size orheight, as specified and pointed out by letters of reference in the accompanying drawing. At A is shown a table-leaf having an opening or hole E, through which the heat furnished by the said lamp Gr may pass and come in contact with the vessel being used for the purpose ofboiling water,milk, or any other accessories desired to be prepared in haste for the sick-room, which said heat may be partially cut off by means of the extension-leaf O, which is adapted to swing upwardly, turning back over the hole E, as shown by dotted lines C. At D D are shown thumb-nuts or clamps, which I employ in connection with my invention as amedium through which to adjust or regulate the height of said table, making it useful in connection with lamps of different heights. The object of the leaf O being so arranged as to drop downwardly, as shown by dotted lines at H, is to cut 05 said light when not desired by the patient or persons interested without departing from the uses for which it is intended. The upper part of said legs, as herein described, has an opening calculated to receive the entire lower extension or section of said legs, which is equal in size to the opening provided by the upper tube.

Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, isv A heater-table for use in connection with lamps consisting of a main table-leaf, supported by telescopic legs, said leaf having an opening therethrough for the passage of heat from the lamp, and an extension-leaf hinged to the main leaf and adapted to swing downward against the telescopic legs and upward over said opening in the main table-leaf, and means for supporting said leaf in a horizontal position.
