TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCRN: t Be it known that I, IRA KINMAN, of Freeport,'in.the connty of Stephenson, and in vthe State of Illinois, haveinvented certain-new and use-fnl `Ii'nprovements in Roller for Vlindow-Curtains;` and do hereby declare that the following iS a full, clear, and enact description thereof, reference beiiglhad to the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon;

-In the annexed drawings, making a part oi'` this specification- A represents a suitable frame, constructed'ns shown in the drawings, and which forrnssuitaljle bearings for the roller Bto work and rest in. 4 t

C represents a curtain, used either for windows or for a'stage-cnrtain, and is secured4 to its roller in any suitable manner, and has a. Slat, D, fastened to itslower end, as shown.

Upon one end of the rollerB, I secure a crank, h, byY which said roller is turned o1: revolved, and the curtain thereby' elevated.
