Be it known that I, GEORGE I. BIRCH, ot' New York, in the county of New York, sind State of New York, have invented s. new und useful Improvement in Ironing-,Boardy and I do hereby declare that the following is a fnll, clenr, und exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the nrt to make and use the same. reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a, perspective view of my improved hoard when extended'for use.

Figure 2 is a. section of the same when folded together in smaller'compnss. Similar letters of reference indicate like ports.

The object of this invention is to provide-nn'ironinglhobrd'which may be conveniently used und which muy be folded together into smaller compass when not required for ironing or pressing clothes4 In the accompanying plate of drawings, the invention is shown to consist ol' the end frames Bl D D B and- E D D E. These frames are hinged to the bottom frnme B B C C by the butts or hinges c and g. This board is light, cheap, end convenient, :ind fully answers the purpose for which it is intended.'
