kBe it known that I, J. D. DE TURK, of the township of Exeter, in the county of Berks, `and State ofPe'nn sylvaniafhave invented a. new and useful Improvementv on a. This instrument or improvement is constructed of' castor wrought iron, or other metal.
To enable others to make and use my invention or improvement, I will proceed to describe its construction or-operation. v l Y I construct my improved cultivzttor-too'th of cast iron, but thesa'me lmay be -mile of any of the baser metals. The cap, represented in figs. 12, 3, and 4. intended to be fastened to the cultivator-beam, int-o which the tooth is to be'inserted, and fastened by the ironhinge-bolt a, figs. 1, 2, -and 3, and the wooden pin or key at letter e, figs. 2 :ind 3, by the'use of 4which the breaking o f' the tooth can be avoided.
