To aZZ whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, CnARLns G. HARGER, Jr., a citizen of the United States, residing at Canton, in the county of Stark and State of Ohio, having invented a new and useful article of manufacture, consisting ofa Bed-Cloth ing Clamp or Fastener, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a new article of manufacture, consisting of a bed clothing clamp or. fastener; and the objects of my invention are, first, to provide a light ard at\ tractive clamp or fastener, so constructed that when in use the bedding shall be held and retained in position by reason of the tension or pressure produced by the clamps. I attain these'objects by the mechanism illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
The drawing is a perspective view of said invention.
It consists of a piece of steel wire or steel plate, or other desirable material bent upon formers, so as to produce a strut-spring, B, with a straight back, 0, so constructed as to bring the pressure or tension of said clamp at the points E and D, respectively. \Vhen in use, said clamp is passed over the woodwork edge of the bed in such a manner as to hold the bed-clothing in a fixed position between the points-E and D. is placed upon the inside of the bed, and thus presents a smooth surface upon that side.
