COMBINED SATCHEL AND MUFZF.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 284,298,
Application filed December 18, 1882. (No model.)
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, LUcINIUs HAVASY, of
the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and useful Improvement in a Combined Satchel and Muff, of which the following is a specification.
The object of my invention is to provide a combined satchel and muff which shall be adapted for use during the summer as Well as winter weather, and this I do by making the muff detachable from the satchel. The advantages of this arrangement are that the same satchel. may be made to answer for all seasons,
while the muff attachment is reserved for use during its proper season.
My invention is more clearly shown in the annexed drawings, in whioh- Figure 1 shows a satchel, A, with a detachable muff attachment, B, secured to the same by fastenings at one side. Fig. 2 shows the same closed and secured at both sides.
The muff attachment and satchelmay be secured together, as shown, by two series of eye let-holes, act and b b, respectively placed in the satchel and muff, through which may be dated September 4, 1883.
