SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 256,887', dated April 25, 1882.

ing. It is evident that instead of a button and button-hole, as described, any other convenient mode ot securing the loop to the strap B may be used.
The object in separating' the loop from the strap is to allow the loop to remain on the suspenders when the latter are removed from the shoulders. They could be made in one piece without departing from the spirit of my invention.
