This invention related to a unique handy kit or vanity case novelty for the pocket, pocketbook or hand-bag, and may be known in the trade as the ve in one compartment case.

The salient feature of this invention is the hollow casing or receptacle, preferably of square design, having the combination of a lip-stick, re-

iiector mirror, small roll or folded tissue paper, rouge and powder boxes with puffs. At one end is a re-fillable lip-stick and handle, and on top of center casing is an unbreakable reflector mirror to be moved in and out. On the opposite end is a roll of tissue paper inside the casing and asl the tissues are needed the cover is opened and a knurled nut is turned, and the desired amount of perforated tissue is torn off or a folded tissue is easily removed, the tissue being used and thrown away, thereby eliminating handkerchjefs or towels, which are usually ruined by the lipstick and rouge.

Another salient feature of this invention, is that any make of lip-stick may be used and replaced when needed, and the tissue rolls are also replaced easily, while the compact is quickly made accessible by the three way hinged box of the cover-cap with lid. This in 1 case is sanitary, is easily carried in the pocket, pocketbook orhand-bag, therefore, providing a very useful convenience.

Another important feature of this invention is the alternative forms of the casings for either the roll or folded tissue paper, either of which are concealed within tube casing and can only be reached by removing the .cap-cover of casing,

' which is preferably of square design, or may be of desired design or shape as may be preferable.

Other important features of this invention will appear as the description proceeds in the following speciflcation, accompanied bythe annexed drawing, in which Figure 1 is a longitudinal section through the complete compact casing, having the tissue roll.

Figure 2 is an end view lof Figure 1, showing the lip-stick and handle portion of the casing.

Figure 3 is a perspective view of Figure 1.

Figure 4 is a cross sectional view on line 4-4 of Figure 3.

Figure 5 is a fragmentary view of Figure 1, except the lip-stick is shown exploded from the handle.

Figure 6 is a perspective view of the device showing the rouge and powder boxes opened, the tissue paper drawn out and the mirror drawn out, in which the lip-stick shownin Figure 5 completes all the ve vessential 'elements of the l device.

Figure 7 shows a modilled form of an integral casing with folded tissue paper arranged therein.

Referring to the drawing, the numeral I indicates a tubular casing, for example, about one inch square and made out of aluminum, whitemetal, transparent, Celluloid or plastic material, or any other suitable material. At one end ls a reduced 'square handle portion 2 adapted to receive a lip-stick 3. The other end 4 of the casing is open to allow the inserting of a roll of tissue paper 5 about three inches wide and perforated about every two inches. The tissue roll is placed onto a rod 6, the tissue roll may or may not be mounted onto a metal sleeve 1, which is rotatable onto the rod B. A slit opening 8 in casing l is for the withdrawal of the tissue paper, when turned by the screw knob 9, after which it is torn off at its perforated lines, or any place as desired.

The open end portion 4 of the casing I provides for a cover and cap I0 onto which is held a three way hinged compact box II having rouge l2, powder and puff I4', and are held closed by any suitable snap I5 and lid I8, the box II being -easily opened when the rouge and powder ar needed, as shown in Figure 6.

' A mirror I5 in one side of the casing I is adaptable to be moved in and out as shown in Figures 1 and 6 by means of a catch I6, and is prevented from coming out of casing by grooves l1 at the top and bottom ends thereof. This mirror, for example, is a highly polished plate member, non-breakable and. everlasting. Cheaper mirrors may be used, if so desired.

The lip-stick 3 is easily removable at the open portion 20, and the combined lip-stick holder 22 and reduced end 2 are also removable from the collar end 23 of the casing. However, if so desired, it may be a xed part to the casing l, as shown at 2' in Figure 7.

In Figure 5 is shown an alternative method of dispensing the tissue paper, such as in the folder manner. The tissue sheet is folded in four parts about V8" square, with a depthv of about 1% in case. A slide spring-like member 30 extends with projections 3|, and are moved along slots 32 and 33 as folded tissues are needed. Folded tissues 25 are brought in a package with 2 wires or metal frames 28 `exact size to fit into casing I. If so desired, the package of tissue may be slid into the casing I, by turning small ends 21 oi the wires and the tissues are free to be released afterthe cover-cap is opened.

The linger button 3l when gradually moved up will bring tissues to top of said casing as needed.

It is to be noted that the inner onset collar portion 23' of the member 23 acts as a stop for theA lip-stick holder 22, so the lip-stick 3 clears the roller support ib which is the end enclosure oi! the casing I, which is provided with a punch point bearing Ic for the tissue roll shaft and sleeve 8 and outs 20 of the handle 2 is deep enough for the finger and thumb to withdraw lip-stick holder 22, but does not expose the lip-stick 3, therefore, keeps same enclosed for sanitary purposes.

It is'to be understood that thelip-stick, reflector mirror, powder, rouge, puii's, and tissue paper are adapted to be used independently of each other and to be replaced conveniently whenever needed, the lip-stick being reilllable in its holder and the compact box and tissue paper is reiillable in the other room end of the casing.

The lid i8 may have a mirrored surface iGa, whereby the powder, puff or rouge, is applied more conveniently, also the open space Ilia may hold a small mirror Ia, or any other suitable article.

It is to be further understood I do not coniine myself` to the exact design or structural form, and reserve the right to alter for improving any detail part or operation of my handy kit as hereinbefore described and shown in the drawing, without departing from the spirit of my invention, and coming within the scope of the appended claims.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is as follows:

l. In a handy kit and novelty device for pocketbooks, hand-bags and pockets Aof the character described, the combination, of an outer casing, preferably of a square design, said casing having a long slit longitudinally thereof, another longitudinal opening provided in another portion of said casing, a reflector mirror arranged within said casing, a roll of tissue paper arranged there- 1, respectively. in, one end of said casing having a handle portion, said handle portion having a rellable lipstick secured therein, the other open end of said casing providing means to have a hinged compact box inserted therein, said reflector mirror adapted to move up through said opening and to set upright thereon, said lip-stick adapted to be removed for use and replaced, said compact box adapted to be opened for using contents therein and for closing same when not in use, and means to turn said rollI of tissue paper to feed out through said slit in said casing, for tearing of! a required amount for use, means to reinsert said reflector mirror in said casing, and said compact box, cover of casing adapted to be removed to replace a new roll of tissue paper.

2. In a handy kit and novelty device for pocketbooks, hand-bags and pockets of the character described, the combination of an outer casing, preferably of square design, said casing having tissue paper arranged therein, one end of said casing having a reduced portion adapted to insert and remove a lip-stick and holder, said reduced portion providing a handle for said casing, a reflector mirror arranged into said casing, said mirror having grooved portions, said groove portions adapted to secure said mirror within and outside of said casing. the other end of said casing adapted to hold a three way hinged compact box containing powder, rouge and puffs, each of said lip-stick, reflector mirror, powder, rouge, puils, and tissue paper adapted to be used independently of each other and to be replaced in their compact assembly into said casing, except the tissue paper which is thrown away, and means to replace said lip-stick compact box and tissue paper when needed.

In a handy kit and novelty device for pocketbooks, hand-bags and pockets of the character described, the combination of an outer casing, said casing having tissue paper arranged therein, one end of said casing having an extended portion adapted to insert and remove a lip-stick and holder, said extended portion providing a handle for said casing, a mirror arranged into said casing, said'mirror adapted to be moved in and out of said casing, the other end of said casing having a hinged box arrangement at its other open end portion, said box providing for a compact make-up such as powder, rouge and puffs, said box adapted to be opened for access to said tissue paper and replacement thereof, and for the use of the powder, rouge or puffs.

In a handy kit novelty device for pocketbooks, hand-bags and pockets of the character described, the combination, of an outer casing, said casing having a mirror arranged therein, one end of said casing provided with an open portion, the other end thereof being closed by means of a compact box adapted to be opened thereat, said open end portion adapted to be used as a handle and for inserting and replacing a lip-stick, said mirror adapted to be exposed for use, and tissue paper arranged within said casing, wherefrom said tissue paper may be removed, used and thrown away during the make-up operation by the compact box and lip-stick.
