JEFFERSON D. MOORE, OF OOKESBURY, SOUTH CAROLINA.
IMPROVEMENT IN COTTON-TIE FASTENERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 216,096, dated June 3, 1879; application filed December 29, 1878.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, JEFFERSON D. MOORE, of Gokesbury, in the county of Abbeville and State of South Carolina, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Bale- Tie Fasteners; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawin gs, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a side view of a bale-band, with its ends and the accompanying device in section. Fig. 2 is afront view of same, with a portion of one of the fastening devices re moved; and Fig. 3 is afront view of one of the fasteners in full.
This invention has relation to bale-tie fasteners; and it consists of certain improvements in the construction of the same, hereinafter more fully described, and particularly pointed out in the claim.
