Abstract

A hand covering for gripping handles comprises a covering body with a necking portion to enclose around a handle and an entrance for hands to put into. The front end of the necking portion is gradually enlarged to the entrance. A fixed hole is defined at the front end of the necking portion. The covering body has a receiving space defined therein for receiving hands. The receiving space is communicated with the fixed hole and the entrance. The receiving space has a warming member defined at the inner peripheral of the covering body for keeping the hands warm in the receiving space and for absorbing the sweat from hands.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a glove, more particularly to a hand covering for gripping handles of wheelchairs and walking sticks.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • Usually, aged people or physical challengers need wheelchairs and walking sticks to walk and move. They often grip handles to operate wheelchairs and walking sticks. However, when aged people or physical challengers grip the walking sticks for a long time, the handles of the walking sticks become slipping gradually because of sweat. It is so dangerous for these aged people and physical challengers to hold slipping walking sticks to move. In addition, during winters, hands cannot force enough because of cold weather. Although they can wear gloves to use these walking sticks and wheelchairs, the gloves make the handles become slipping. In order to avoid injury and accident, some non-slipped and warming device is necessary to set on the handles of wheelchairs and walking sticks.
  • The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the disadvantages of the conventional.
    • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The main objective of the present invention is to provide an improved hand covering for gripping handles.
  • To achieve the objective, a hand covering for gripping handles comprises a hand covering for gripping handles comprises a covering body having a necking portion at the front end to enclose around a handle and an entrance at the rear end for hands to put into, the front end of the necking portion gradually enlarged to the entrance, a fixed hole defined at the front end of the necking portion for receiving the handle, a splitting portion defined axially on the necking portion to split up the necking portion into two parts, the necking portion having connectors defined on each of two parts, the covering body having a receiving space defined therein for receiving hands, the receiving space communicated with the fixed hole and the entrance, the receiving space having a warming member defined at the inner peripheral of the covering body.
  • The peripheral of the necking portion is formed as a zigzag shape. The connectors are male and female contact, or Velcro tape, or buttons. A flexible belt is defined in the peripheral of the necking portion along the zigzag shape. The warming member is made from cotton, wool or feather.
  • Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

    •  DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Referring to FIGS. 1-7, a hand covering for gripping handles comprises a covering body 1. The covering body 1 has a necking portion 11 at the front end to enclose around a handle 2. The covering body 1 has an entrance 12 at the rear end for hands to put into. The front end of the necking portion 11 is gradually enlarged to the entrance 12. A fixed hole 111 is defined at the front end of the necking portion 11 for receiving the handle 2. A splitting portion 112 is defined axially on the necking portion 11 to split up the necking portion 11 into two parts. The necking portion 11 has connectors 113 defined on each of the two parts. The connectors include male contacts 1131 defined on one part of the necking portion 11 and female contacts 1132 defined in another part of the necking portion 11 (As shown in FIG. 3). When the male contacts 1131 connect to the female contacts 1132, the necking portion 11 is closed along the splitting portion 112 to form the fixed hole 111 for receiving and fixing the handle 2. The covering body 1 has a receiving space 13 defined therein for receiving hands. The receiving space 13 is communicated with the fixed hole 111 and the entrance 12. The receiving space 13 has a warming member 14 defined at the inner peripheral of the covering body 1.
  • Referring to FIGS. 3, 5 to 7, the peripheral of the necking portion 11 is formed as a zigzag shape. A flexible belt 114 is defined in the peripheral of the necking portion 11 along the zigzag shape so that the zigzag peripheral is flattened and the necking portion 11 is enlarged to receive the handle 2 when the flexible belt 114 is stretched. After the necking portion 11 encloses the handle 2, the flexible belt 114 is recovered and the necking portion 11 is lessened to the original size to fasten on the handle 2. The connectors 113 on the necking portion 11 can be male and female contact 1131, 1132, or Velcro tape (not shown), or buttons (not shown). The connectors 113 are adjustable to change the size of the necking portion 11 for further fixing the covering body 1 on the handle 2.
  • Referring to FIG. 4, the warming member 14 in the receiving space 13 is made from cotton, wool or feather for keeping the hands warm in the receiving space 13.
  • Referring to FIGS. 2 and 5, the rear end of the covering body 1 is folded back to form the entrance 12 with overlapping warming member 14 so that the structure of the entrance 12 is stronger and the wrist is kept warmer by the overlapping warming member 14.
  • Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

Claims (5)

What is claimed is:
1. A hand covering for gripping handles comprising:
a covering body having a necking portion at the front end to enclose around a handle and an entrance at the rear end for hands to put into, the front end of the necking portion gradually enlarged to the entrance, a fixed hole defined at the front end of the necking portion for receiving the handle, a splitting portion defined axially on the necking portion to split up the necking portion into two parts, the necking portion having connectors defined on each of two parts, the to covering body having a receiving space defined therein for receiving hands, the receiving space communicated with the fixed hole and the entrance, the receiving space having a warming member defined at the inner peripheral of the covering body.
2. The hand covering for gripping handles as claimed in claim 1, wherein the peripheral of the necking portion is formed as a zigzag shape.
3. The hand covering for gripping handles as claimed in claim 1, wherein the connectors are male and female contact, or Velcro tape, or buttons.
4. The hand covering for gripping handles as claimed in claim 2, wherein a flexible belt is defined in the peripheral of the necking portion along the zigzag shape.
5. The hand covering for gripping handles as claimed in claim 1, wherein the warming member is made from cotton, wool or feather.
