リハビリの初期は、介護者にこの握力助勢具を装着してもらうが、回復状況によっては自分で装着できるように、構造をできる限り簡略化したものである。
また、手首装着帯は、拳カバーの両側方向に延出させたが、一方向のみに延出して、手首に巻廻す構成でも良い。

手を握った状態の拳の表裏面を、手首まで覆う長さに設定した拳カバーと、
この拳カバーの一端側に設けると共に、この拳カバーの一端を前記手首に着脱するために設けた第1の着脱手段と、
この第1の着脱手段が設けられていない前記拳カバーの他端側で、この拳カバーと直交する方向に延出した帯体に、手首に着脱するための第2の着脱手段を設けた手首装着帯とからなる握力助勢具。
