From the above, it is considered that if another substance having an action of proliferating NK cells in a living body of an animal is administered instead of lactoferrin, and a Toll-like receptor ligand such as polyIC is, for example, intraperitoneally administered, NK cells are also induced in the peritoneal cavity. It is considered that such induction of NK cells using a substance having an NK cell proliferating action and a Toll-like receptor ligand in combination can be utilized in screening for a substance having an NK cell proliferating action.
